Occasionally, I like to start my morning off by drinking a yummy fruit smoothie. One of my favorite is a tangy fruit mix combined with chia seeds. Hope you enjoy!
Almond Milk 2-4 cups
1/4 Medium Pineapple
1/2 Medium Mango
2 teaspsoons chia seeds
*Makes 2 smoothies
*Frozen fruit works best.
Blend fruit and almond milk. Start with 2 cups of almond milk and add more as needed and to your desired thickness. I use 4 or more cups because I like my smoothies on the thinner side. If you want a thick smoothie than use only 2 cups or as much is needed to blend the fruit. Pour mixture into two 8 oz glasses. Pour 1 tsp of chia seeds into each glass and stir. Put the smoothie in the fridge for 2 minutes so the chia seeds can bubble up. Drink cold and enjoy!
