Tangy Vegan Chia Seed Smootie

So if you liked the tropical vegan chia seed smoothie recipe from last week you’ll probably like this one as well. It uses a different mix of fruit and I switched it up and used cashew milk this time. I love it because it’s a little on the sour side. Test it out and see if this smoothie will become your next morning go-to.



Cashew Milk 2-4 cups (Can be substituted with Almond Milk)

3 Strawberries

1/2 Cup Blue Berries

1/2 Cup Black Berries

1/2 Cup Raspberries

2 teaspsoons chia seeds

*Makes 2 smoothies

*Frozen fruit works best.


Blend fruit and cashew milk. Start with 2 cups of cashew milk and add more as needed and to your desired thickness. I use 4 or more cups because I like my smoothies on the thinner side. If you want a thick smoothie than use only 2 cups or as much is needed to blend the fruit. Pour mixture into two 8 oz glasses. Pour 1 tsp of chia seeds into each glass and stir. Put the smoothie in the fridge for 2 minutes so the chia seeds can bubble up. Drink cold and enjoy!
