Field Roast Vegan Sausage Review

I first heard of Field Roast from YouTubers Eamon & Bec. So I thought I would give them a try.

I tried the Apple Sage flavor. I simmered the sausage in a little bit of vegan butter until the skin had darkened. I then cut the sausages into little pieces and simmered them as well.

The didn’t taste like real sausage but boy were they close! They did have the snap that meat sausage has and the flavor was very rich. The sausages didn’t have an after taste and digested well. However, while the texture isn’t bad it’s different than normal sausage; which is to be expected.

I served the sausage with sautéed potato pieces and watermelon for dessert. It was delicious! I will absolutely be eating these again.

You can check out the Field Roast website to find a store that sells there products. Target, Lowes Food, and Whole Foods usually sells them. However, they fly off the shelf so I would call ahead to see if they have them in stock if you are making a special trip just to purchase this sausage. At Whole Foods and Target they are in the produce section of the store. They have always been sold out at Lowes Food when I have tried to get them so I have no idea where they keep them but my best guess is actually with the meat sausages by the lunch meat and not with the other vegan and vegetarian food.
